The primary material we use when manufacturing custom tools is submicron cemented tungsten carbide. We work with leading European manufacturers of carbides and precisely select materials to the tool application and needs of our partners.
Our tools offer an extended life cycle thanks to internal channels in the carbide. They reduce the friction between the tool and the workpiece and improve cooling and chip removal. The type of channels is always selected to fit the tool type (various helix angles and numbers of cutting edges).
